Supporting undocumented students in their pursuit of college, career and contribution

STUDENT OUTREACH TEAM
OVERVIEW AND ELIGIBILITY

E4FC invites dynamic undocumented students and allies of undocumented students to join our Student Outreach Team.  Participating students will be organized and trained to lead presentations & workshops to support and empower undocumented students throughout the Bay Area.

BACKGROUND

E4FC is frequently asked to outreach to students, parents, educators, allies, community organizations, and affinity groups around the Bay Area. Each year, we recruit, train, and organize a group of undocumented and ally students to serve on the E4FC Outreach Team. In the passed year, we have given over 75 presentations, workshops and trainings to sites all over the Bay Area! We believe that undocumented students are the most inspiring, knowledgeable, and effective people to lead these presentations. Our goal is to connect undocumented students from around the Bay Area, develop young leaders and provide hope to the students who are still on the outside looking in.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Student Outreach Team is composed of Outreach Ambassadors, who support undocumented students and their communities by providing interactive workshops and informational presentations. Each Outreach Ambassador will be put through a series of trainings to improve his/her presentations skills and knowledge. Outreach Ambassadors will also distribute informational materials in key sites around their region. The Outreach Team directly serves 4 regions:
  • San Francisco Region (San Francisco & Marin)
  • South Bay Region (San Mateo & Santa Clara)
  • East Bay Region (Alameda & Contra Costa)
  • North Bay Region (Napa, Sonoma & Solano)
